Last Friday, my husband I left sunny Moraga (a very hot day...) for foggy (ahhh...) Golden Gate Park...a nice walk, a visit to the Dahlia Garden, a free concert - Soul/Jazz Friday's at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell (see below!) and then an early dinner out. We were only gone for a few hours, but it felt like a mini vacation. Super fun and good for the soul. If you haven't been to the park in a while, this is your encouragement! "Shoulder Season" in the Bay Area is brilliant.

You will find the Dahlia Dell tucked between two walking paths that lead east from the Conservatory of Flowers. Since there is no sign identifying the garden, you will need to keep an eye out for the single picnic table as you walk down the paths. By car, drive towards Conservatory Drive East or JFK Drive – you will find free parking along Conservatory Drive East.
